To serve 2 to 4:
1) Put bigger cast iron skillet in oven with half stick butter and start melting at 350 to 400 degrees, depends on how much of a hurry you're in.
2) In a bowl, whisk together: 3/4 cup flour, 3 eggs, 3/4 cup milk.
3) Pour batter into pan of melted butter and pop back into the oven.
4) Bake until it's all big and puffy and golden. When it comes out, it'll deflate. Tastes yummy with a sprinkling of powdered sugar over it.
To serve 1:
Follow instructions above but use a smaller skillet and: 1/4 cup flour, 1 egg, and 1/4 cup milk.
I learned this recipe from my Ballard high school cooking class with Mrs. Ono.
