Mediterranean Avocado Pasta Salad

For the actual amounts of the ingredients, I eyeball and taste as I go....

1) Toss together in a large serving bowl and then refrigerate until ready to serve:
          > cooked, drained, and cooled whole grain pasta (e.g., penne or farfalle)
          > fresh diced or sliced tomatoes
          > sliced or halved kalamata olives
          > cubed fresh avocado
          > splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
          > drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
          > sprinkling of salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning blend

2) When ready to serve, mix in:
          > crumbled, non-fat feta cheese.

3) To complete this salad for a meal:
          > mix in garbanzo beans
                (OR)
          > mix in canned tuna or salmon
                (OR)
          > serve with a side of cooked falafel patties.
